Awareness of IBCA and understanding of its role
Awareness of IBCA is lower than the Infected Blood Scandal itself
Nearly two thirds (57%) have heard of IBCA compared to almost four in five (81%) who have heard of the Infected Blood Scandal. This reflects a 4% increase in awareness of IBCA compared to a 3% increase in awareness of the scandal.
Very few have detailed knowledge of IBCA with only 10% knowing a lot or a fair amount about IBCA, which has not changed from the previous survey.

Three in five (63%) don't understand IBCA's role well, similar to the previous survey (62%). Only a third (34%) say they understand the role well, which includes 5% who say they understand it very well.
