Awareness of IBCA is lower than the Infected Blood Scandal itself

Slightly over half of the respondents (53%) have heard of IBCA, compared to almost four in five (79%) who have heard of the Infected Blood Scandal. Very few respondents have detailed knowledge of IBCA with only 10% knowing a lot/a fair amount about IBCA.

While only 10% say that they know a lot or a fair amount about IBCA, over half (53%) have heard of IBCA in some capacity.

Three in five respondents (62%) don't understand IBCA's role well, while only a third (34%) say they understand the role well, which includes 4% who say they understand it very well.
