A strong sense of understanding

Knowledge of the compensation scheme broadly mirrors knowledge of IBCA overall, suggesting that those who are aware of IBCA are likely to be aware of the compensation scheme itself.

However, similar to understanding of IBCA, a quarter (25%) feel they know just a little/almost nothing about the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme.

Concerns regarding fraud

Concerns remain within the community about the potential for fraud, but more are concerned about those who are eligible being victims of fraud.

Community members continue to express concerns about fraud occurring within the compensation scheme, especially surrounding those eligible being victims of fraud. There were no significant differences compared to the previous survey.
