Familiarity with IBCA
Among community members, familiarity with IBCA is high. Three in four (75%) know at least a fair amount about it, with one in three saying they know a lot.
A minority do not know as much about IBCA. One in five (22%) say they know just a little or have only heard of IBCA.

Understanding of the role of IBCA closely mirrors familiarity, with the majority of the community saying they understand IBCA's role well.
About a third (32%) feel they understand IBCA's role very well, and just under half (48%) feel they understand it fairly well.

While this showed that a large portion (81%) of respondents understood the role of IBCA in providing compensation for those impacted by the Infected Blood Scandal, this is less than the 98% of respondents who had heard of IBCA, suggesting that a portion (17%) of those had heard of IBCA do not understand its role in providing compensation.
