Carers
You may be able to get compensation if you’ve provided regular, unpaid care to the infected person, for 16.5 hours a week or more over at least 6 months. Your dedicated claim manager will work with you to make sure you understand the types of claim you can make.
The types of evidence you might need to show that you are, or were, a care-giver are still being finalised by government.
