People asked to begin compensation claims

A total of 677 people have been asked to start their claim.

Of this number, 432 have started the claim process.

Compensation offers

So far, 160 people have received an offer.

The total value of offers made is £150,254,884.72.

People paid

A total of 106 people have had their compensation paid.

Those who have chosen to continue receiving payments from their existing support schemes for life, with an additional compensation amount from IBCA, are described as the ‘adjusted’ route.

Those who have chosen to receive all of their compensation in a one-off compensation payment directly from IBCA, and no longer receive regular support scheme payments for life, are described as the ‘core’ route.

Compensation paid

A total of £96,680,906.43 has been paid to people.

The ‘adjusted’ route compensation figure above only includes the amount that IBCA has paid to people when they’ve chosen the adjusted route. It does not include payments for life that people continue to receive from the support schemes.
