Jill Moore
Biography
Jill Moore joins us from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) where she has been working as the HR Director for Digital and Transformation group, supporting Digital and Tech leaders over the last 5 years in their journey to transform services to citizens and colleagues, in driving digital innovation and change.
Jill joined the Civil Service in 2012, via the Civil Service HR Fast Stream, starting her journey as an HR Business Partner in DWP working in the North East supporting Jobcentres in North East Yorkshire and the Humber. This is where her love for both HR partnering and working close to a business where its mission and purpose makes a difference to the lives of others blossomed.
Following a spell in Whitehall, in the Cabinet Office, where Jill worked on the Civil Service Capability agenda, Jill returned to the North East to take up a post with HMRC partnering the Making Tax Digital Programme. Jill returned to DWP in 2016 to take up a role as a Senior HR business partner for Digital Group. Over the last few years, Jill has worked partnering in predominately digital environments acting as Head of HR for BPDTS in 2017 until the birth of her first son in April 2019, and in her current role as HR Director for DWP’s Digital and Transformation Group, which she has held since October 2020.
Mark Hitchen, our interim HR Director, will be staying with IBCA into next year. He’ll initially work alongside Jill to ensure a smooth handover, whilst continuing to lead our HR function.
