Chief of Staff

Jaime Irvine

Biography

Jaime has spent 25 years in the Civil Service, most recently two years with the Rural Payments Agency and 23 years at the Department for Work and Pensions.

During an eight-year tenure on Universal Credit, Jaime supported its growth from a small-scale service into a nationwide benefit supporting more than six million customers, many with significant complexities and vulnerabilities.

Jaime has built extensive experience supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society, including customers affected by identity fraud and individuals released from long-term imprisonment following miscarriages of justice. She is committed to putting customers at the heart of service delivery while encouraging a culture of high performance, inclusion, and strong team engagement.

Outside work, Jaime has dedicated two decades to community and volunteer roles, including as a School Governor, Chair of Governors, Vice Chair of a Multi Academy Trust, and Designated Safeguarding Officer for her local rugby club.
